As a Senior Advisor – Training you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of on‑site training activities for a complex and high‑profile project. Working collaboratively with the Worley Training Manager and the Customer, you will help coordinate training initiatives, support compliance with contractual training requirements, and contribute to building capability within the Customer organization through effective and well‑governed training programs.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Supports Worley Training Manager in preparing and providing training for the Owner’s personnel, ensuring that such training is developed in compliance with the requirements contained in the contract between Worley and the Customer, and that all applicable standards and local and international requirements are adhered to and training is provided within agreed timelines.
  • Supports Worley Project Manager, Worley Training Manager and the larger project management team, with expert advice regarding training and resolution of training related work scope.
  • Represents Worley at project meetings related to training, both within the Worley team and at meetings between the Customer and the Contractors and Subcontractors. 
  • Ensure Worley Project training programs and procedures are developed and implemented in accordance with Worley & Project internal processes and procedures. 
  • Advises the Owner on training material provided by the Contractor and Subcontractors, to be used by the Customer, regarding compliance with the principles of a Systematic Approach to Training. 
  • Provides reports to the Customer regarding reviews and issues identified in training processes and material. 
  • Verifies that any identified Worley training subcontractors are suitably pre-qualified for delivery of training services. 
  • Supports the Worley review of training documents provided by the respective Contractors and Subcontractors to the Customer. 
  • Supports the Customer in reviewing, commenting and preparing drafts of Customer correspondence pertaining to training issues and documents submitted by the respective Contractors and Subcontractors. 
  • Provides support to the Customer for evaluation of the effectiveness of training provided.


Experience and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Master’s Degree is preferred.


  • Strong technical skills. 


  • At least 8 years' experience in nuclear training programs for nuclear power plants and contractor oversight.  


  • Experience in project-oriented activities.


  • Excellent report writing skills.

  • Ability to communicate, influence and persuade. 


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian is a plus. 


  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to resolve conflict. 


  • Organized and disciplined, capability to plan and schedule tasks and events. 


  • Ability to work and interact with multi-cultural teams. 


  • Ability to advise the Customer on acceptance or rejection of Contractor training deliverables.
