What You Will Do:
Financial Integrity & Compliance
  • Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with IFRS/IAS standards and AFG policies.
  • Provide a solid foundation for the Group's consolidated financial statements.

Close Process Optimization
  • Own and optimize the month-end and year-end close cycle for assigned entities.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient book closure with zero material adjustments post-submission to BPC.
  • Coordinate with various departments to streamline the closing process.

Financial Risk Mitigation
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, control gaps, and audit findings.
  • Protect company assets and mitigate financial reporting risks.
  • Implement safeguarding measures in transaction processes.

Audit Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for audits.
  • Manage multiple urgent requests while adhering to the core closing calendar.
  • Provide comprehensive support to auditors for smooth audit operations.

Data Management
  • Operate within a fast-paced environment with non-negotiable closing deadlines.
  • Manage large volumes of financial data from various sources within ERP systems.
  • Address and resolve historical reconciliation items while maintaining ongoing responsibilities.

Required Skills To Be Successful:
  • Expert-level proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end month-end close processes.
  • Advanced data analysis skills with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with auditors and other business units.

What Qualifies You For The Role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in financial analysis within a large organization.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA) and related GL Accounting modules.
