Job description

From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signaling, and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the full-time Project Product Introduction & Warranty Manager we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project execution and reliability expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll be at the forefront of ensuring the successful delivery of Product Introduction (PI) activities, driving reliability growth, and achieving warranty closure. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer support), manage warranty work packages, and coordinate field modifications and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of defining and implementing the PI strategy for commissioning and warranty periods, but also ensure customer satisfaction by addressing reliability and quality concerns promptly and effectively.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Representing the PI function within the Project Core Team and in front of the customer

  • Ensuring PI processes and instructions are implemented and communicated internally and externally

  • Managing the full Project Warranty Work Package and ensuring contractual reliability targets are met

  • Coordinating field experience feedback (REX) to improve future project execution

  • Establishing and executing a mobilization plan for commissioning and warranty periods

  • Implementing incident management processes for Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and 8D follow-ups

  • Ensuring compliance with Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP) and Customer EHS requirements

  • Identifying potential opportunities for additional services during the warranty period

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Engineering or Industrial disciplines

  • Over 10 years of experience in project execution (technical/industrial) for senior positions

  • At least 5 years of team management experience for senior positions

  • Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management and field experience

  • Understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements

  • Proficiency in data analytics and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) and railway safety is desirable

  • Knowledge of engineering, DFQ (Development for Quality), and audit processes

  • Customer contact and contract management experience

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines

  • Work with new security standards for rail signaling

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects

  • Utilize our inclusive and flexible working environment

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning

  • Progress towards senior leadership roles or technical expertise paths

#LI-MO1

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
