About the Role


Flat6Labs is looking for a Program Officer to join our team on the Green Growth & Jobs Accelerator Project (GGJAP) in Egypt. As a professional, you will be responsible for supporting SMEs in their day-to-day activities as well as supporting the program team in organizing cycle processes, documentation, and events. This role would suit a highly proactive, technology-savvy, and organized individual who is passionate about creating impact.
Also, as a Program Officer, you will be required to oversee the process and the operations of the program, design and implement an effective business strategy to position the program as a high-quality leading ecosystem development program locally and internationally, help build relationships, and establish partnerships with local and international partners.
Main Responsibilities:


Marketing & Outreach:


  • Collaborate with the UNDP team to disseminate calls for applications.
  • Utilize social media to share the UNDP team's posts about the program update.
  • Disseminate calls for applications within the partner network and previous beneficiaries.
  • Organize informational sessions to present the program.
  • Headhunt potential SMEs that could benefit from the program.
  • Support the Program Manager on the outreach strategy in line with UNDP branding guidelines.

Accelerator Implementation:


  • Plan and execute pre-accelerator and accelerator phases with the Program Lead's support.
  • Scout SMEs to hire as part of the coming cohorts 
  • Identify potential experts, mentors, and potential financial institutions based on the needs assessment results.
  • Manage virtual & physical workshops and events as part of the accelerator program.
  • Advise selected SMEs on their business development needs.
  • Run a needs assessment for the selected SMEs and prepare all the documents requested
  • Analyze the needs assessment results and align with the Team leader on the action plan for each SME.
  • Support SMEs during the program and ensure they respond to all queries or challenges they are facing
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding/offboarding journey for all SMEs.
  • Support the business development affairs that might open doors to opportunities for SMEs 
  • Among others.


Reporting:


  • Collect the necessary data and information requested by the donor from the accelerated SMEs.
  • Work on the needed reports for office hours and the needs assessment to submit to the donor
  • Follow up with the engaged mentors on the reports for each session 
  • Support in the preparation of  the accelerator report
  • Among others.

Communication:


  • Attend weekly meetings with the UNDP country office and F6L regional team.
  • Support program communication on social media channels.
  • Ensure timely responses to queries or challenges from entrepreneurs.
  • Actively promote internally and externally the GGJAP to key stakeholders.
  • Among others.
