The Kraft Heinz Company is looking for a Production Planner who will be responsible for translating demand and supply plans into detailed, executable production schedules that optimize service levels, capacity utilization, inventory, and costs, while ensuring alignment with safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities
1- Production Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop daily and weekly production schedules based on demand plan and inventory targets.
- Sequence production to optimize line efficiency and minimize changeovers.
- Balance capacity constraints (labor, materials, machine availability).
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure schedule adherence.


2- Inventory & Materials Alignment:



- Ensure availability of raw and packaging materials in coordination with MRP and Procurement.



- Monitor stock levels of finished goods, WIP, and key materials.



- Support inventory optimization initiatives and reduction of slow-moving and obsolete inventory.




3- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with demand and supply planning, procurement, warehouse and logistics and maintenance.
- Participate in S&OP / IBP cycle reviews and capacity validation meetings.

4- KPI Monitoring:
- Track and report key KPIs such as schedule adherence, service level (OTIF), line utilization, waste & changeover Loss and inventory days of supply.

 


5- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify scheduling improvements to reduce downtime and improve throughput.
- Support Lean / TPM initiatives.
- Participate in CAPEX planning related to capacity expansion.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning/scheduling in FMCG (food manufacturing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Understanding of S&OP / IBP processes.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical thinking
• Strong coordination & communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Problem-solving mindset
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up
