Effectively direct and manage the production operation to safely produce finished goods to meet sales and marketing demands that is consistently within quality and cost targe Responsibilities Develop annual operating plan for production Set production area performance standards and align organization Leads problem solving activities for production. Coaches line managers and operators in process improvement Consult with interdepartmental resources concerning problems which are affecting productivity, and take corrective action Coach and build capabilities of line managers to convert objectives Jointly develop with product availability resource (scheduler) the production schedule to meet weekly sales demand Review and analyze production and downtime reports daily. Follow-up with appropriate resources to systematically eliminate sources of downtime Lead the implementation of national and local initiatives for the production area (product, packaging, new technology … ) Utilize visual factory concepts to control and organize the work Coaches and provides constant feedback for the development and improved performance of production personnel Develop staffing and skill building plans for the production area that directly links to delivering yearly AOP. Work closely with HR for effective implementation Conduct performance appraisal for the line managers and ensure it is done for the rest of the production area Responsible for the selection, on-boarding and recommending for termination of production line personnel Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of the Health & Safety programs in the field. Qualifications Manufacturing/ production background , safety & food safety awareness; basic of budgeting & finance Engineering background Minimum 5 years in plant operations environment English Leadership, team player, communication skills, presentation skills
