Role Overview: We are seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in mobile development, including extensive expertise in both native and cross-platform solutions.
This role demands a strategic leader capable of designing and executing complex mobile applications that provide exceptional user experiences on both Android and iOS platforms.
The role is hybrid (4 days in office depending on location).
The office is in New Cairo.
Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of sophisticated mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, emphasizing modular and reusable code.
Oversee the integration of mobile applications with backend services, ensuring seamless data exchange and enhanced performance.
Mentor and guide a team of mobile developers, promoting best practices in code quality and mobile architecture.
Drive innovation in mobile solutions by adopting latest technologies and frameworks, ensuring our applications remain cutting-edge.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and achieve business objectives, translating complex requirements into functional, scalable mobile solutions.
Conduct performance reviews, refine processes, and ensure all mobile solutions meet the highest standards of responsiveness and quality.
The role is a long-term contract position through Xenon7, which is the approved vendor of the client.
The payments are paid out in gross amount in USD on a monthly schedule.
A minimum of 10 years in mobile application development with a solid track record of successful projects.
Proven experience with cross-platform (Flutter, React Native, Ionic etc) , as well as native iOS (Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin) development.
Advanced knowledge of state management in Flutter and familiarity with native mobile architecture.
Proficient in integrating mobile applications with complex backend infrastructures using RESTful APIs and middleware.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and lead development teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a capacity to handle complex architecture and design challenges.
An advanced degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
