Mission

JOB PURPOSE:  



The Power Supply Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational continuity of 



the metro’s electrical systems. This role ensures accurate fault diagnosis, execution of corrective actions, and compliance with 



quality and safety standards. By managing tools, conducting technical verifications, and collaborating with the team, the 



technician contributes to the reliability and sustainability of the power supply infrastructure across the Metro L3 network.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES  



Fault Diagnosis & Troubleshooting 



• Accurately identify and diagnose faults in electrical systems and components. 



• Execute troubleshooting procedures and validate corrective actions to restore system functionality efficiently. 



Reporting & Incident Analysis 



• Review and verify the accuracy of technical reports, documenting any detected failures. 



• Support the supervisor in analyzing incident history and technical data to draw logical conclusions and improve 



operational practices. 



Testing, Verification & Compliance 



• Conduct routine tests and technical verifications in alignment with established Quality Assurance standards. 



• Contribute to the traceability and documentation of maintenance activities and test results. 



Tools, Spare Parts & Workspace Management 



• Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts to ensure readiness and reliability. 



• Organize and manage workspace logistics, ensuring an efficient and safe working environment. 



Work Quality & Timeliness 



• Ensure high-quality execution of maintenance tasks within defined timelines. 



• Monitor the progress of activities and ensure compliance with technical and safety standards. 



Knowledge Sharing & Communication 



• Actively share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to team learning. 



• Communicate clearly and effectively to support coordination and continuous improvement within the team. 




QUALIFICATIONS: 



• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. 




KNOWLEDGE: 



• Strong foundation in electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems. 



• Skilled in troubleshooting techniques and fault resolution. 



• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and technical plans. 



• Knowledge of essential electrical safety regulations. 



• Proficient in the use of electrical measuring and testing instruments. 



• Solid understanding of general maintenance practices and protection principles, including voltage relays, current 



transformers (CTs), and voltage transformers (VTs). 



• Hands-on experience with Medium and Low Voltage equipment. 



• Proficiency in working with transformers, circuit breakers, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), batteries, programmable 



logic controllers (PLCs), control panels, and cables. 



• Familiarity with direct current (DC) systems, including rectifiers, circuit breakers, and protection devices. 



• Confident in using computers and standard office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. 




EXPERIENCE: 



• 3 to 5 years of experience in the electrical maintenance field, with at least 2 years working in substations. 



• Prior experience in the railway or transportation industry is a plus.
