Leverage your expertise and join the dynamic team of a leading Saudi contractor focused on high-quality large-scale residential projects in Saudi Arabia.


Work location: Cairo, Egypt.


The Planning Manager will be responsible for leading all project planning, scheduling, and progress control activities to ensure timely delivery of construction projects in line with contractual requirements, budgets, and quality standards.


Key Accountabilities

The position involves:


  • Develop, update, and manage detailed project baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools.
  • Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement recovery schedules when required.
  • Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment of project timelines.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking for management and client review.
  • Analyze critical path activities and provide mitigation plans to avoid schedule slippage.
  • Review contractor and subcontractor programs and ensure compliance with project master schedule.
  • Support project controls team in cost and resource loading of schedules.
  • Conduct delay analysis and support claims preparation related to time extensions.
  • Ensure integration of planning activities with procurement and construction sequencing.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders on all planning and scheduling matters.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are Looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 8–10+ years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and project controls tools
  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing, methods, and project lifecycle
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
  • Experience in delay analysis and EOT claims (preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with stakeholders
