Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for two (2) full of potential and reliable Planning & Controls Engineers to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team for two of our major projects in Egypt.

What you will need to do:


Planning & Scheduling


  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), resource-loaded schedules, and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to ensure schedule alignment.
  • Analyze project activities, critical paths, float consumption, and schedule risks.

Project Controls


  • Monitor project progress against approved baselines and identify deviations.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and performance indicators.
  • Conduct earned value analysis (EVA) and productivity assessments.
  • Track project milestones and recommend corrective actions to address delays.

Cost Control


  • Monitor project costs, commitments, and budget performance.
  • Assist in forecasting project costs, cash flow requirements, and resource utilization.
  • Support the preparation of cost reports and variance analyses.
  • Review subcontractor progress and support payment certification processes.

Risk & Change Management


  • Identify schedule and cost risks and propose mitigation measures.
  • Evaluate extension of time (EOT) claims and variations from a planning perspective.
  • Support change management processes by assessing schedule and cost impacts.

Coordination & Reporting


  • Attend project review meetings and provide schedule and performance updates.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and project control standards.

What you will need to have:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil Engineering is preferred) from an accredited university.
  • 5–7 years of experience in planning and project controls within civil construction projects.
  • Previous experience with civil construction contractors is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, Project Control, Cost Control, Risk Management, Change Management, Delay Analysis, and Contract Administration.
  • Experience in medium to large-scale construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Office applications, and AutoCAD.
  • PMP, PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional), or relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English.
