Today, we are recruiting for a Overhead Catenary System Site Installation Supervisor to join our team in Egypt. Coordinate internally to verify and ensure site readiness for installation through surveys and inspections Supervise on-site installation of poles, accessories, and OCS wiring in accordance with contract and design specifications Lead, manage, and oversee the installation team on-site Monitor and track the progress of installation activities against project timelines Follow up progress reports and field instructions Identify, report, inspect, and analyze any material damages Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of site and section status Review installation of red-mark drawings and as-built drawings for accuracy and compliance Prepare and submit detailed progress reports Develop and continuously update installation schedules in line with project requirements Verify quantities of materials used and conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials Ensure full understanding and compliance with project technical specifications Liaise with project owners, internal inspectors, or their representatives to ensure alignment and approvals Prepare and review method statements for installation activities Ensure all required EHS documentation is in place and participate in toolbox talks Enforce compliance with Siemens Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies during execution Operate primarily across multiple site locations along the e-HSR project What do I need to qualify for this job? Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent technical qualification 5–10 years of on-site experience in a similar role Experience working with governmental/public sector entities Training in EHS standards such as OHSAS, NFPA 70 (Electrical Code), Lockout-Tagout procedures, and safe lifting practices are an advantage Solid understanding of contracts and strong business writing skills Experience with handover procedures, preferably within governmental sector projects Knowledge and experience in preparing installation method statements Proficiency in reading and interpreting shop drawings and construction drawings Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Experience supervising subcontractors on-site Intercultural awareness and experience working in diverse teams/environments Professional-level English (negotiation and communication); Arabic, German is considered a plus Valid driving license Willingness and ability to work in dynamic environments across multiple site locations, including travel What else do I need to know?
