Role Overview

The Outbound Sales Representative (SDR) will support company growth through proactive outbound outreach, lead generation, and relationship management efforts within the moving and logistics industry. This role focuses on identifying and engaging prospective customers, referral partners, and strategic business opportunities while maintaining strong organization and follow-up throughout the sales pipeline.


The ideal candidate is highly communicative, relationship-driven, organized, and comfortable engaging with prospects throughout the day across phone, email, and CRM platforms. Key ResponsibilitiesOutbound Outreach & Lead Generation
  • Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, email, and other communication channels to generate new business opportunities.


  • Identify and engage prospective customers, referral partners, and strategic business relationships.


  • Follow up consistently with inbound and outbound leads to maintain engagement and move opportunities through the pipeline.


  • Assist in building and maintaining a steady flow of qualified opportunities for the company.


Relationship Management & Communication

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with potential clients while understanding their moving and logistics needs.


  • Handle conversations professionally while navigating different customer personalities and objections.


CRM Management & Pipeline Tracking
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions, outreach efforts, and follow-up activity within the CRM.


  • Track lead progression, pipeline updates, and outreach performance consistently.


  • Stay highly organized with daily follow-ups and task management.


Collaboration & Sales Support
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.


  • Collaborate with leadership to improve outreach messaging, sales workflows, and lead generation processes over time.


  • Provide consistent updates regarding pipeline activity and sales progress.


Proactive Outreach & Performance Focus
  • Maintain strong daily outreach activity and consistent follow-up efforts.


  • Stay proactive in identifying new opportunities and areas for business growth.


  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and pipeline goals.


QualificationsExperience
  • 1–3+ years of experience in outbound sales, sales development, appointment setting, or business development.


  • Previous experience with cold outreach, prospecting, and lead generation.


  • Experience working with US-based customers or companies is strongly preferred.


  • Previous experience within moving, logistics, home services, or similar industries is a plus.


Skills
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.


  • Comfortable spending a large portion of the day communicating with prospects over the phone.


  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills.


  • Ability to manage multiple conversations and opportunities simultaneously.


  • Proficiency using CRM systems and sales tools.
