Missions/Main Duties
    • Supervise and manage QA/QC Engineers, set team schedules, and oversee daily inspection activities.



    • Review and comment on contractor submissions (shop drawings, material submittals, method statements) with focus on MEP systems.



    • Ensure attendance at inspections as per ITP and coordinate closely with contractor QA/QC staff.



    • Conduct surveillance of construction activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.



    • Prepare daily reports, maintain diaries, and issue Site Discussion Records (SDR) to track quality issues.



    • Monitor NCRs and surveillance findings, follow up on close-out evidence, and discuss progress in workshops.



    • Oversee project safety programs, ensuring contractor adherence to approved safety plans and contractual requirements.



    • Witness inspections, laboratory sampling, and testing, maintaining photographic and written records.



    • Identify deficiencies, unsafe practices, and non-compliant work, reporting to project management.



    • Review and approve MEP shop drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting systems).



    • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and international standards.



    • Verify materials and equipment for MEP works against project requirements and codes.



    • Approve O&M manuals and ensure integration of MEP systems with civil and architectural works.



    • Enforce safety protocols specific to MEP works (high voltage, pressurized systems, gas installations).



Profile/Skills
  • Experience on industry relevant projects for position, preferably with successive responsibility on large projects transportation or infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.



  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in QA/QC roles within MEP construction projects.



  • Strong expertise in technical documentation review and quality control procedures.



  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.



  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
