Manager Communication

We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager in Egypt. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in external communications and PR are required, together with excellent command of English and Arabic.

RISE TO THE CHALLENGE

You will be part of the External Affairs team of “Philip Morris Misr”. As a Communications professional, you will design and lead corporate communication programs to raise awareness and increase understanding of PM goals across all media and communication platforms, develop and implement high profile communication initiatives and engagement strategies to support the delivery of PM’s strategic direction towards a smoke free future. You will contribute to and execute external communications in line with the market needs and company strategy to increase PMI’s visibility in Egypt.

More specifically you will:

- Design and implement effective communication strategies for Egypt, identifying and targeting key audiences, including media/advocacy mapping and quality research into the reach of publications

- Drive PMM’s external communications and PR strategy across relevant publications through dedicated campaigns and initiatives

- Produce relevant articles and content pieces on topics relevant to the business.

- Collaborate with the External Affairs’ team and other departments to secure significant media coverage related to activities that are relevant to the business.

- Create, manage and oversee the development of communication initiatives designed to secure significant media and social media interest

- Create, update, and share key information related to the business.

- Anticipate, prepare for, and implement responses to crisis situations, or other situations that PMM and its employees might be facing.
