About The Landscape Senior Manager at Hyde Park Developments will lead the strategic planning, design management, and execution of landscape projects across the company’s portfolio.
The role is responsible for driving excellence in landscape architecture, sustainability, project delivery, and stakeholder management while ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, brand standards, and business objectives Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all landscape design and construction activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with approved master plans, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
Manage the end-to-end landscape development process, from concept design through execution, handover, and operational readiness.
Collaborate closely with architecture, engineering, infrastructure, planning, and commercial teams to ensure seamless integration of landscape elements within overall development strategies.
Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for landscape architecture, ensuring innovative, functional, and sustainable design solutions.
Review and approve landscape designs, technical drawings, material specifications, and construction methodologies.
Monitor project schedules, progress, and resource allocation, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions when required.
Oversee budget planning, cost control, procurement coordination, and value engineering initiatives to ensure financial efficiency and project profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, sustainability requirements, and health & safety policies.
Drive the implementation of sustainable landscape practices, water-efficient solutions, and environmentally responsible design strategies.
Lead, mentor, and develop landscape teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and innovation-driven culture.
Prepare executive reports, presentations, and performance updates for senior leadership and project stakeholders.
Support the development of departmental strategies, standards, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
12–15+ years of relevant experience in landscape design, development, and project management within large-scale real estate or mixed-use developments.
Proven experience managing complex landscape projects from design through execution.
Strong knowledge of landscape architecture principles, construction methodologies, irrigation systems, hardscape/softscape works, and sustainability practices.
High proficiency in technical landscape drawings, specifications, and design coordination.
Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in landscape design software and project management tools.
Strong commercial awareness with experience in budgeting, cost control, and contractor management.
Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
Strong understanding of local regulations, environmental policies, and industry best practices related to landscape development.
