Overview:
Entry- to mid-level systems administrator responsible for supporting the daily operations, maintenance, and monitoring of enterprise systems across on-prem and cloud environments. Works under supervision and participates in on-call rotation with guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in system maintenance, updates, patching, and basic troubleshooting
• Support backups and verify successful completion of backup jobs
• Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects
• Provide support for Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
• Handle user account management (creation, modification, deactivation) in Active directory and Microsoft 365
• Monitor system health and alerts; escalate issues when required
• Support endpoint management and basic security tasks
• Maintain and update asset inventory (devices, licenses, warranties)
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
• Provide first-line support to internal teams and escalate complex issues
• Participate in maintenance windows and on-call rotation (with supervision)
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in systems administration
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, IP)
• Exposure to virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) is a plus
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell is a plus)
• Good communication skills in English and Arabic
• Relevant certifications
