Role Overview
We are looking for a highly capable IT Manager / Systems Administrator to lead and manage our Microsoft ecosystem across the organization. This role will be responsible for the administration, security, optimization, and continuous improvement of Microsoft cloud and endpoint environments, ensuring secure and efficient operations for the engineering and business teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft technologies including Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and SharePoint, along with solid infrastructure, security, and user support capabilities.
This role will work closely with the Engineering, Security, HR, and Operations teams to maintain a secure, scalable, and modern IT environment across multiple regions.


Key responsibilities


•Microsoft 365 Administration
o Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services including:
o Exchange Online
o Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
o Microsoft Intune
o Microsoft Defender Suite
o SharePoint Online
o Teams Administration



• Handle user lifecycle management including onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, and license management.
• Configure and maintain email security, distribution groups, mail flow rules, shared mailboxes, and compliance policies.



Endpoint & Device Management
• Manage Windows and macOS devices through Microsoft Intune.
• Implement device compliance policies, conditional access policies, and endpoint security standards.
• Ensure device inventory, patch management, and endpoint protection are maintained effectively.


Security & Compliance
• Monitor and improve Microsoft security posture using Microsoft Defender and security best practices.
• Manage MFA, Conditional Access, identity protection, and access governance.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, suspicious activities, and endpoint threats.
• Support compliance initiatives and security audits.


SharePoint & Collaboration Tools
• Administer SharePoint Online environments, permissions, document libraries, and collaboration workflows.
• Support Teams and collaboration tools to improve organizational productivity.


Infrastructure & IT Operations
• Manage IT operational processes and system reliability.
• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and third-party service providers when required.
• Maintain documentation for systems, policies, configurations, and procedures.
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices are maintained.


Support & Stakeholder Management
•Provide Level 2/3 technical support for complex Microsoft-related issues.
•Support engineering and business teams with secure and scalable IT solutions.
•Train users and improve IT awareness across the organization.
•Lead or contribute to IT improvement and automation initiatives.


Required Qualifications & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
•7+ years of experience in Microsoft systems administration or IT infrastructure management.
•Strong hands-on experience with:
•Microsoft Exchange Online
•Microsoft Entra ID
•Microsoft Intune
•Microsoft Defender
•SharePoint Online
•Microsoft 365 Administration
•Experience with identity and access management, Conditional Access, and MFA.
•Good understanding of endpoint security and modern device management.
•Experience supporting distributed or multi-country teams is preferred.
•Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

•Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
•Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
•Microsoft Security Certifications
•ITIL or related operational certifications are an added advantage
