Nexus Analytica, a leading provider of consultancy and digital solutions in the energy sector, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Full-Stack QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) to join our growing team. This full-time position is based in our Cairo, Egypt office. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring software quality and will play a crucial role in our development lifecycle, from refining requirements to final deployment. You will be responsible for testing across our entire technology stack, combining both manual and automated strategies to deliver robust and reliable solutions to our clients.
Salary: EGP 25,000 - EGP 40,000 per month
Responsibilities
* Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
* Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and performance testing.
* Perform thorough manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and user interfaces.
* Identify, record, and meticulously track defects through to resolution using bug tracking systems.
* Conduct various testing types, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
* Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure a high-quality end product.
* Participate actively in agile development processes, providing valuable input during planning and review stages.
* Analyse test results and generate detailed reports on software quality and system performance.
Qualifications
* Proven professional experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automation testing.
* Solid experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
* Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
* Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Insomnia.
* A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
