Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and organized Banquet Supervisor to join our hospitality team in Cairo, Egypt. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and seamless event execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and efficiency. You will be responsible for coordinating with various departments, managing staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage service.


  • Supervise and coordinate all banquet staff during events, ensuring professional conduct and adherence to service standards
  • Plan and organize banquet events from initial consultation through execution, managing timelines and logistics
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations throughout all banquet operations
  • Manage guest interactions professionally, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate banquet staff, providing constructive feedback and performance guidance
  • Monitor inventory, equipment, and supplies; report maintenance needs and cost-saving opportunities
  • Manage event setup, breakdown, and room transitions efficiently
  • Maintain detailed records of events, guest preferences, and special requirements
  • Resolve operational issues and guest complaints promptly and professionally
  • Ensure accurate billing and reconciliation of banquet charges
  • Uphold company standards and policies while maintaining a supportive team environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in banquet, catering, or event management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events and diverse guest requirements
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service standards and protocols
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail
  • Customer service excellence and conflict resolution expertise
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations in food service operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Preferred: Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end event venues
  • Preferred: Familiarity with multiple cuisines and diverse service styles
