What You'll Do
  • Clean, organize, and label machine sensor data.
  • Analyze electrical current signals and identify meaningful patterns.
  • Explore signal features that distinguish machine states such as running, idle, stopped, abnormal behavior, and production cycles.
  • Build and evaluate baseline machine learning models for machine state detection and piece-count estimation.
  • Visualize data and communicate findings clearly.
  • Document experiments, model performance, assumptions, and limitations.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate research findings into product improvements and requirements.

RequirementsEducation

Currently pursuing or recently completed (2025 or 2026) a degree in:


  • Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Engineering
  • Good knowledge of Python.
  • Understanding of data analysis and machine learning fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of statistics and data visualization.
  • Exposure to signal processing, IoT, or time-series data is a plus.

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
