Position Overview We are seeking highly motivated data analytics professionals to help us build the data infrastructure for Siemens EDA Customer Support Analytics and to drive excellence across our global customer support organization through insights and technology. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Build, enhance, and maintain analytics assets, such as dashboards and reports, to unlock actionable insights that drive operational excellence and business outcomes. Manipulate and analyze large datasets, to uncover trends and patterns. Design and maintain data systems and pipelines to enable reliable, automated, and efficient data flow—from ingestion through transformation, storage, and refresh scheduling. Develop and manage robust data models (star/snowflake schemas, semantic layers) that support complex analytics and consistent metric definitions. Work closely with global and regional support managers to drive excellence and improve operational KPIs. Build interfaces and apps enabling various uses of our data as well as user management and control. Continuously evaluate and adopt modern technologies and tools in programming, data analysis, and machine learning to strengthen our data platform and analytics capabilities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS/MS plus relevant work experience (Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or similar) Proven experience in translating complex data into actionable insights and applying those insights to drive operational excellence. Understanding of data and analytics infrastructures: data lakes, warehouses, data marts, and BI platforms powering business intelligence. Solid Python and SQL; expert dimensional modeling, data manipulation, and KPI/metric design skills. Hands-on with Power BI (visualizations, datasets/semantic models, RLS/OLS, workspace/app governance; PBIP and Deployment Pipelines a plus). AI enthusiast, avid user of AI-based development tools and Copilots, experienced in AI-enabled automation and AI integration. Familiarity with cloud systems, data pipelines, and orchestration. Ideally, experienced in MS Fabric and Snowflake. Critical thinking and a problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication skills, experience communicating across cultures and seniority levels, ability to persuade and drive change. Advanced knowledge of English; both verbal and written. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is USD 35,700 to USD 50,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation.
