Job description

Leverage your abilities and join the dynamic team of a leading company specializing in the Construction industry in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.


The Contracts Manager position entails overseeing projects, conducts reviews, and studies the legalities of the Contracts with the client or the subcontractors, and ensures full compliance with the Contract Terms and Conditions.


Key Accountabilities
  • Review the ITT and prepare a list of requirements and address all contractual requirements and circulate the list to other involved departments.
  • Review the Contract documents ,and issue queries to the Engineer/Employer relevant to the ITT and Conditions of Contract. Hence submit a list of items relevant to the financial arrangements shown in the Contract.
  • Prepare a risk register for the risks/risks triggers identified based on the Conditions of the Contract.
  • Prepare evaluation to select the subcontractors qualification and prepare the related tender and contract documents to the subcontract scope.
  • Prepare joint venture and consortium agreements (As Required).
  • Prepare all contractual letters.
  • Prepare Variation submittal documents including the related particulars of claims.
  • Review proposed Contracts Addenda.
  • Ensure renewing the project bonds and insurance policies on time.
  • Assure of Company compliance with all project Conditions of Contract.
  • Prepare the subcontractors agreement and preparing all contractual letters.
  • Prepare risk register for the Conditions of Contract and update it periodically.
  • Assure the subcontractor’s compliance with the project’s Conditions of Contract.
  • Setting out the department plan, policy, procedures , work flowchart and KPI measurement.
  • Prepare standard contracts forms in English/ Arabic.
  • Prepare project checklists such as Initiation, close-out …etc.
  • Prepare risk register template.
  • Prepare process map for department activities such as insurance policies review, contracts drafting…etc.
  • Prepare the database for Subcontractors, Manufacturers, and Suppliers for Tendering and Procurement Department.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering .
  • 12+ years in Contracts Department.
  • CLAC & FIDIC knowledge is preferred.
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Proven work experience as a Contracts and Claim Engineer in the construction field.
