Job description

  • Provide support and administration for Card Management Systems (CMS).
  • Manage and monitor the full card lifecycle, including issuance, activation, PIN management, limits setup, blocking/unblocking, and card reissuance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot transaction issues related to authorization, clearing, and reversals using ISO8583 messages.
  • Support daily payment operations across ATM, POS, e-commerce, contactless, tokenization, and 3D Secure (3DS) transactions.
  • Ensure smooth integration between CMS and core banking systems.
  • Perform reconciliation and support settlement processes. Investigate and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal service disruption.
  • Work closely with internal teams, payment schemes, and vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
  • Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Card Management Systems (CMS).
  • Solid understanding of card lifecycle (Issuance, activation, PIN, limits, blocking/unblocking, reissue).
  • Experience with ISO8583 messages (authorization, clearing, reversals).
  • Familiarity with payment schemes (Visa/Mastercard/Meeza).
  • Understanding of transaction flows (ATM, POS, e-commerce, contactless, tokenization, 3DS).
  • Understanding of reconciliation & settlement basics.
  • Basic understanding of:

  • WebSphere
  • HSM basics (Thales PayShield 9000 & 10K)
  • Strong SQL skills (querying, troubleshooting transactions).
