Role Objectives


The Brand Manager (Private Label) contributes to the success of Breadfast Private Label by driving 


excellent brand performance through end-to-end ownership of both strategy and execution. Breadfast’s Private Label’s long-term business objectives are ambitious with plans to build cross-category Private Label brands and products that deliver on solid value propositions.  


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute the overarching strategy for Private Label brands across various categories, including new product launches, portfolio optimization, commercial performance, activations, P&L management, and communications.


  • Oversee product/category profitability by conducting financial analyses to enhance sales and profit performance, while managing brand budgets for optimal resource allocation.


  • Track and analyze internal and external brand performance metrics, providing stakeholders with clear, informed updates on brand performance.


  • Utilize customer feedback and research to propose corrective actions and improvements for specific categories or initiatives.


  • Monitor market trends and competitor performance, translating data into actionable insights.


  • Lead campaign briefs and manage digital marketing activities (in-app promotions, campaigns, etc.) in collaboration with central marketing and commercial teams.


  • Partner with commercial teams to identify and drive growth through new opportunities and initiatives.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management, preferably within the retail, FMCG, or Private Label sector.


  • Proven track record in developing and executing brand strategies, managing product launches, and driving commercial success.


  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, budget oversight, and conducting financial analyses to optimize performance.


  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including campaign management and in-app promotions.


  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, competitor trends, and customer insights to drive actionable strategies.


  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present brand performance metrics clearly and persuasively.


  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.


  • Familiarity with market research methodologies and tools is an advantage.
