Assistant Project Manager (External) - Siemens Energy, Cairo Egypt

As an Assistant Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you will be a key player in delivering impactful Gas Services projects, collaborating closely with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams. How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Support the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to execution and closeout.
• Coordinate project documentation, schedules, and communication with stakeholders.
• Act as a primary interface for customer representatives during project preparation and execution.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and follow up on mitigation actions.
• Assist in cost control, invoicing preparation, and financial monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, procurement, and field service teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project management or coordination, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with MS Project and knowledge of SAP or similar tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Project management certifications (e.g., IPMA, PMP) and fluency in Arabic and English are preferred.

About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
