Scope


This role will support the accounting operations in all day to day activities such as documentation, reporting, analysis of business transactions and communication with the customers and subcontractor.


Responsibilities


  • Manage and process Accounts Payable transactions, including vendor creation, invoice verification, balance confirmation and payment runs
  • Prepare and post essential Journal Entries (JEs), including accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, intercompany transactions, and fixed asset depreciation/amortization.
  • Prepared monthly and quarterly tax filings, linking the books with the E-invoice portal to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standard.
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in vendor accounts and GL balances.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Reconciled GL accounts, analyse variances, and prepared reports to support financial statements, audits, and management decisions.
  • Communicate with banks, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve financial issues, improve processes, and maintain smooth operations.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assisted in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.


Qualifications/Experience


  • BS degree in accounting, finance or mathematics.
  • Good communication skills :  both oral and written
  • Knowledge of basic accounting topics, such as tax procedures, accounting software, economics, principles of finance, and standard business practices
