What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of our field sales teams during the presales phase. By being the trusted advisor to both internal as well as external members of our sales teams you will be at the center of setting and orchestrating an impactful, innovative technical agenda based on Dell Technologies and partners’ solutions for our Enterprise clients.

You will:

The Dell Technologies Solution Architect possesses a unique balance of technology vision, business acumen and strong interpersonal skills. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative solutions that meet the business needs of our clients while aligning with architectural governance and standards.

• Sustain a current level of knowledge on competitive information and objection handling
• Conduct customer needs analysis and anticipate requirements beyond existing solution’s scope
• Contribute to the virtual technical and cross-functional team in collaborative development and sharing of information with customers, peers, partners and the wider Dell Technologies community
• Contribute to the overall technology vision, participate in the architectural design of complex solutions and be part of decisions on the most suitable selection of solution components across the Dell Technologies portfolio and partner ecosystem to address client challenges
• Deep Knowledge of the Dell Technologies portfolio of solutions and services as well as in addition to emerging technologies to leverage in solution opportunities and innovation

Essential Requirements

• Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into desired IT results & business outcomes, considering both future and current situation as well as constraints
• Track record of successfully designing complex solutions involving technologies from multiple providers
• Interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, active listening, consulting capabilities and negotiation
• Deep knowledge of the Dell Technologies portfolio of solutions and services as well as knowledge of strategic ecosystems, partnerships, and go-to-market execution.
• 5+ years of IT domain experience as an architect, systems engineer, or consultant

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
• Background in industry vertical business drivers, solutions, and architectural methods
