Required:- Remote Desktop Service (RDS): Technical & senior experience with RDS solution, both from a high-level design perspective & configuration. Citrix Netscaler: Experience with Citrix Netscaler remote access solutions. Design & documentation: Architectural design of remote access solutions, documentation & requirements gathering. To enable secure remote access to IAM solutions a migration from the current global Citrix solution to a new global RDS solution is required. This requires careful planning, execution & stakeholder alignment to ensure no operational interruptions & alignment on expectation.
The architect will report to the IAM project manager & work alongside both the Identity Security team & the production IT team(s).
Senior Security/Infrastructure Remote Access Architect requirements: To support a critical cybersecurity programme within a regulated environment. The role focuses on the design & implementation of secure remote access solutions, including migration from Citrix to RDS, ensuring alignment with NIS2 requirements.
The ideal Senior Security/Infrastructure Remote Access Architect will have strong experience with RDS & Citrix NetScaler, combined with solid stakeholder management skills & the ability to navigate complex organisational landscapes. Experience with architectural design, documentation, & working within critical infrastructure or highly regulated industries is highly valued.
Senior Security / Infrastructure Remote Access Architect experience in: - Planning & execution: Experience in leading technical implementations, including planning & scoping
- Stakeholder Management: Solid stakeholder management competences & experience, with ability to navigate in complex stakeholder landscapes with many decision makers, as well as collaborate & build consensus among different stakeholder groups.
- Remote Desktop Service (RDS): Technical & senior experience with RDS solution, both from a high-level design perspective & configuration.
- Citrix Netscaler: Experience with Citrix Netscaler remote access solutions
- Design & documentation: Architectural design of remote access solutions, documentation & requirements gathering.
Nice to have requirements: Sector expertise: Familiarity with the energy sector & its regulator, DCIS strategy or other critical sectors & an understanding of their unique cybersecurity challenges including the threat landscape, geo-political situation, & regulatory requirements.
Agile methodology: Knowledge & experience in applying agile project methodology to effectively manage & deliver complex projects.
