Jr Operations Specialist

At GUT we seek a Junior Operations Specialist, who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new digital marketing era.

Get involved with account/portfolio/region sustainability by taking care of the touch points between account/portfolio/region and Globant staff areas. At its core, this is a foundational position on which account and delivery pods rely in order to generate and provide accurate visibility and predictability of their operation to the Globant organization. The Operations Specialist provides accurate, consistent and timely information that is crucial for the decision making process at strategic levels (account leadership and Drive pod). The Operations Specialist also takes care of proper follow up of “hard” aspects of the delivery.

The Operations Specialist’s ultimate goal is to seek efficiency within the assigned account/portfolio/region and identify and propose process improvements.

• Finance: billing, financial forecast update, actuals review and reclassifications, collections follow up. 

  
  

• Travel: trips, visas and relocations (request and follow up). 

  
  

• Administration: clients, projects, rates management on Globant tools. 

  
  

• Capacity: assignments, releases, team time tracking 

  
  

• Others: keep track of contracts status, Facilities & IST issues, additional payments, Procurement, non billed cost and other important KPIs.
  

  
  

• Organized – Makes effective use of time and promotes timeboxing.

  
  

• Resilient – Recovers from (recurrent) difficult situations with a positive and learning attitude.

  
  

• Analytical - Establishes relationships between many variables and previous experience to raise risks to account / project leadership.

• Fast learner and Resourceful - Is able to quickly adapt to changing processes and can predict and unblock the delivery team when administrative tasks could interfere with delivery progress.

  
  

• Effective communicator - Knows the level of detail and the tone/type of communication to address different situations with stakeholders from different hierarchies and backgrounds. Escalates the right matters at the right time.
