Join us as a Senior Converter Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of Converter systems within Offshore Service scope. You will engage with diverse teams to enhance the reliability and efficiency of Converter operations, tackling technical challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle. How You’ll Make an Impact


·You will provide global fleet support to ensure optimal performance and reliability of existing Converter systems while conducting complex technical RCA investigations when required.


·Develop and implement retrofits to enhance Converter performance and reliability, contributing to cost-out measures that improve efficiency and reduce costs.


·Identify and assess technical and financial risks associated with Converter issues, participating in complex 8D problem-solving processes to resolve critical challenges.


·Act as a key stakeholder in new developments, particularly in DFMEAS related to Converter, while creating and maintaining technical documentation to support projects and fleet operations.


·Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging your strong analytical skills and experience in power electronics and Converter technology to drive innovative solutions.


What You Bring


· Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is mandatory. Master's degree would be preferred.


·10+ years of experience in Converter design, development, or maintenance with hands-on experience.


·Strong analytical skills, ownership, solution oriented and a proactive approach to solve technical issues and identify opportunities for improvement in Converter service operations, managing multiple projects simultaneously.


·Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and international multicultural teams, with a minimum proficiency of C1 in English (both written and spoken).


·Experience in technical risk assessment (commercial is a plus) and management related to electrical systems, with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.


·Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tools, including Microsoft Office, MATLAB, Teamcenter, SAP, Phyton or R etc.

You will be joining a dynamic international team distributed across Denmark, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany and India, which is responsible of the Electrical Main Components of the Offshore fleet (Generator, Converter, Transformer and Switchgear).
