In addition, you will develop new features and extensibility points in the Sitefinity WCMS product, take responsibility for building new functionalities, implementing enhancements, and maintaining existing ones, including those that leverage modern AI capabilities.In this role, you will:Participate in the research of the software components behind the team tasks and have a good understanding of the architecture and design of the team's product.Write clean, maintainable, and readable code while strictly adhering to team coding quality standards. This includes writing different types of tests.Analyze business requirements and provide additional scenarios and use cases, based on a continuously enriched understanding of the customer problem.Participate in regression and functional testing to ensure the quality of the product.Participate in code reviews and provide guidance to drive personal and code quality improvements.Investigate problems of diverse scopes, identify and resolve bugs of different complexities.Provide realistic time estimates on tasks and assignments.Continuously get acquainted with and remain updated on the product's inner workings: architecture, components, API, features, and documentation.Apply AI tools and capabilities (including LLM-assisted development workflows) to improve code quality, productivity, and problem-solving effectiveness.Collaborate on features and components that integrate AI or machine-learning–driven capabilities into the Sitefinity platform.Your background:Demonstrated experience as a software developer (2+ years)Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design and Design PatternsKnowledge of Algorithms and Data StructuresGood understanding of database concepts and SQL; experience with MS SQL Server and ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework)Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET (.NET Framework 4.8+ / .NET preferred)Understanding of web technologies and protocols such as HTTP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScriptExperience with Single Page Application frameworks/libraries (e.g., Angular, React, or similar)Ability to use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) responsibly and effectively to accelerate research, prototyping, testing, and documentation.Foundational understanding of how AI/LLMs work, their limitations, and best practices for safe and ethical use in software engineering workflows.Focus and knowledge for writing optimized, high-performance, and memory-efficient codeUnderstanding of version control systemsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies – e.g., Scrum, Kanban, LeanProficient in written and verbal EnglishAdditionally, it would be beneficial if you have:Experience working with AI or LLM-based features and integrationsKnowledge of AI architecture patterns, agents, MCP server, tools, skills, etc.Hands-on experience designing microservicesDevOps experienceSecurity experienceIf this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals, we’d be happy to chat.
