It is a common to hear that someone has shifted their career focus midway through their career journey, or they got promoted or were offered a job with totally different responsibilities and tasks. The immediate thought that crosses everyone’s mind is that “Their previous job was a complete waste of time,” right?

Now you may have experienced this in your own career journey, you have witnessed others go through the dramatic career shifts, or you’ve hesitated to accept certain jobs with questionable potential. As the concerning thoughts cross your mind and the different ideas pop up randomly about your current or future job, you should understand and believe that there isn’t a job out there that haven’t taught (or couldn’t teach) you anything.
