لطالما أظهر يوغيش اهتمامه بالبيتروكيماويات منذ أن كان صغيراً. فبدأ بمساعدة والده عندما كان يبلغ 14 عاماً في عمله في شركة كيماويات. وقام يوغيش بتأسيس شركة بيتروكيماويات صغيرة بشراكة مع شخصين اخرين ولكنها سرعان ما فشلت وخسر يوغيش كافة أمواله وذلك نظراً الى قلّة خبرته في إدارة الأعمال والأخطاء المتعددة. وفي عمر ال29 عاماً، انتقل يوغيش الى دبي حيث تمكّن، من خلال إصراره على النجاح وتحقيق أحلامه، من تأسيس شركة بيتروكيم الشرق الأوسط في العام 1995 لتصبح اليوم من الشركات البيتروكيماوية الرائدة في المنطقة.
