Being a great place to work goes deeper than high pay and great benefits. The work environment that you provide as an employer is important too. The best companies appreciate their workers and offer them everything they need to make them feel valued. They train managers to work more efficiently, treat their employees fairly, and trust them to get their work done. In its latest poll, Bayt.com surveyed some 8,853 professionals from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region on what makes a company an attractive place to work. Below is a very interesting infographic on what makes the ideal workplace in the MENA region. You will be surprised by the importance MENA professionals place on Employer Branding. Some of the poll highlights: 24% like to be praised and recognized for their good work. 7 in 10 professionals want to work for a company that has career growth prospects. 6 in 10 professionals give importance to an employer’s brand name when judging a job offer. 5 in 10 professionals would want to work in a place where their work is part of a greater purpose.
