Bayt.com Survey: Health & Well-being in the MENA

There are many elements that impact a person’s happiness and well-being at work.

Bayt.com has recently conducted a survey entitled ‘Happiness & Well-being in the MENA’, in order to highlight key elements affecting professionals’ happiness that are important for any company striving to be successful in today's marketplace.

Key findings:

  • 84% of MENA professionals are satisfied with their mental well-being.
  • Employment opportunities (48%) and general safety and security (47%) are the most important factors that impact general happiness.
  • Nearly three-quarters (73%) of respondents describe their general state of health as good or excellent.
  • Nearly 3 in 5 respondents (56%) are satisfied with their life in general.
  • Over half the MENA respondents (53%) are most satisfied with the support they receive from colleagues.

Data for the 2021 Health and Wellbeing in the MENA survey was collected online from 20th October to 15th November, 2021. Results are based on a sample of 2,768 respondents from countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Sudan among others.
