The Bayt.com ‘Distractions at Work in the MENA' poll has revealed that more than half of MENA's professionals find distraction at work to be a big problem.

Data for the Bayt.com ‘Distractions at Work in the MENA’ poll was collected online from October27 – November202013, with6,704 respondents from the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia.

Highlights:

  • Six in10 MENA respondents consider that having their attention snatched away from work is a ‘big problem’
  • 30% of professionals feel that a more professional work environment will help reduce distraction at work.
  • Eight in10 professionals have their long-term goals set in sight when they go about with their daily activities.
  • 59% of professionals take short breaks from work only once or twice a day.
  • 45% of professionals plan their tasks a week in advance.
