The Bayt.com Middle East Job Index Survey – February 2015

Data for this survey was collected online from December112014-January202015. The total sample size is2,694 respondents, of which2,516 were of working status. Countries that participated in the survey include the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.

Key Highlights:

  • Three-fifths of working respondents in the MENA state that they will be hiring in the next3 months.
  • 65% of those who plan to hire in the next3 months indicate that they would be hiring for up to10 positions.
  • Accountants (17%) and Sales Managers (16%) are the top job roles companies will be looking for in the next3 months.
  • Good communication in Arabic and English is the top attribute companies in the MENA look for in a respondent.
