The Bayt.com Middle East Consumer Confidence Index Survey – March 2015

Some highlights:

42% of respondents expect their financial position to improve in the next6 months.

The majority of respondents (73%) expect the cost of living in their country to increase in the next6 months.

38% of respondents expect the economy in their country to improve in the next6 months, while a quarter expect it to get worse.

32% of respondents state that the number of employees in their organization has increased in comparison to the last6 months.

Data for the YouGov and Bayt.com Middle East and North Africa Consumer Confidence Index Survey for January2015 was collected online from January19-31,2015, with the participation of4,263 respondents aged18 years and above. Respondents were from the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.
