The infographic sources data from the Bayt.com Diversity at Work poll, released in October2015, which surveyed professionals about diversity at work in the Middle East.

Key Highlights:

  • 78% of professionals feel that their organization is good at connecting multiple tasks and ideas together in a novel way
  • 80% of employees in the Middle East feel that their company encourages diversity
  • 86% of polled professionals believe that their skills are as diverse as they would like them to be
  • Roughly half of professionals polled (51.8%) are comfortable sharing their views at work, while 36.2% are only comfortable to a certain extent.

Data for the Bayt.com “Diversity of Thought in the Middle East and North Africa Workplace” poll was collected online from August 19 to September 18, with 7,012 respondents. People polled were from varying nationalities including GCC Arabs, North Africans, Levant, and Western and Asian expats from the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
