When it comes to applying for job, fresh graduates need to overcome the challenge of creating an attractive CV and cover letter with limited professional experience. How should they do that? How can they ensure their application materials are good enough? Bayt.com polled thousands of job seekers to understand what makes the perfect fresh graduate CV today. Find out more below.

Key findings:

  • 89% of respondents believe it is important to have a career objective on a fresh graduate’s CV.
  • Nearly two-thirds (62.6%) of respondents think that fresh graduates should add their grades on their CVs.
  • Three-quarters (74.7%) of respondents believe that ‘format and structure’ are the most challenging aspect of creating a CV.
  • Three-quarters (74.5%) of fresh graduates say they always include a cover letter in their job applications
  • Data for the2018 Perfect Fresh Graduate CV in the Middle East poll was collected online from11th January2018 to4th March2018. Results are based on a sample of9,144 respondents from the following countries: UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, and Pakistan.
