Purpose of the Job
The Site Quality Director manages the Site Quality Teams to ensure that all deliveries meet the required quality level.
He/She cascades and implements Site objectives within the Quality organization and ensures the deployment of quality policy and tools at Site level.

Quality Action Plan


  • Develop a strong Quality Culture and promote a Right First Time approach.
  • Ensure consistency between QCD objectives and contractual/regulatory obligations applicable to projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement plans to analyze and reduce CONQ, NCR, Safety issues and Demerit.

Quality Embedded in Operations


  • Deploy the Quality Policy within the Site Management Committee.
  • Be responsible for Quality and Safety assessment of products and services delivered, in line with contractual quality requirements.
  • Increase customer satisfaction through periodic meetings, customer surveys and product delivery controls.
  • Manage and escalate top issues impacting Safety and Customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure DFQ Gate Reviews and Suppliers FAI are performed on time, including waivers when required.

Quality Resources Management


  • Lead, manage and develop Quality teams using Quality School, expertise and APSYS.
  • Deploy standard tools and indicators and contribute to their continuous improvement.

QMS and Process Management


  • Ensure process governance, risk and opportunity management with Site interested parties.
  • Evaluate quality performance of each process through internal audits.
  • Ensure proper update of Quality (QMS) reference documents using the REX process.
  • Ensure Site QMS compliance with Alstom standards, customer standards and ISO 9001 / IRIS / CMMI / ECM requirements.

Performance Measurements


  • Monitor standard Quality KPIs (Demerit, CONQ, FAI, DFQ, Go on Time, K1, K2, K3, etc.).
  • Track APSYS score, internal and external audit results.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through customer audits and yearly site evaluations.

Educational Requirements


Mandatory


  • Master’s degree in Engineering, General Management or Quality Management.

Desirable


  • Knowledge of the railway industry (standards, norms, certifications).

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality, Project and Operations environments.
  • Proven experience in managing quality and problem-solving tools.

Desirable


  • Senior management experience, with good knowledge of different types of products.
