Job description

The Technical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in providing IT support (Hardware) and ensuring the smooth operation of technology systems within an organization. This position is ideal for individuals who possess strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology. The specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting end-users with technical queries, and maintaining IT infrastructure. With a focus on customer service, the Technical Support Specialist will work closely with various departments to ensure that all technical needs are met efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities:

  1. Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  3. Assist in the installation and configuration of computer systems and applications.
  4. Maintain and update documentation related to IT processes and procedures.
  5. Monitor and manage IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses.
  6. Collaborate with other IT team members to improve service delivery.
  7. Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies and software.
  8. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
  9. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
  10. Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements.
