VAMSYSTEMSis currently looking for Sr.System Administrator forour Bahrainoperationswith the following skill set and terms and conditions: 
SkillSet required:

• MicrosoftServer, 2008, 2012

  
  

• VMWareESX, VSphere Administration

  
  

• NetAppStorage 7Mode – Cluster Mode

  
  

• MicrosoftExchange 2010, 2013

  
  

• Checkpointand Cisco ASA Firewall administration

  
  

• MicrosoftProject

  
  

• Ciscoor Microsoft qualified, certifications are preferred

  
  

• Experienceof installing/troubleshooting and supporting a wide range of systemsand applications.

  
  

• Well-versedin ITIL processes and service management

  
  

• Configureand trouble shoot applications on IIS

  
  

• Anextensive knowledge in virtualization using VMWare or MicrosoftHyper-V technologies.

  
  

• 5+ years in Network andStorage Administration experience required

  
  

• Experience with PerformanceTuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring andtroubleshooting tools

  
  

• Experience with backups,restores and recovery models

  
  

• Knowledge of HighAvailability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for Serverenvironment.

  
  

• Experience working withWindows server, including Active Directory

  
  

• CCNA, MCP, and/or Firewallcertifications a plus

  
  

• Ability to manage andtroubleshoot firewall policies, Microsoft GPO, and other ACL’swithin the network.

  
  

• Any skills in the followingwill be an advantage:

  
  

• To develop and troubleshooteffective solutions using Microsoft .Net Framework and Visual Studio2008, 2010 and 2012 (C#.net, VB.net, ASP.net)

  
  

• Microsoft Development Toolsand languages

  
  

• PowerShell Scripting

  
  

Education

• Bachelors in computer science

  
  

• Relevant experience isrequired

  
  

• Preferred Certifications;CCNA, CCNP, MCSE

  
  

Experience/Knowledge

• ManageCisco Network environment including; (VoIP, CUCM, Switching andRouting, and Firewall administration), through multiple productlifecycle environments, within the mission-critical productionsystems.

  
  

• Configureand maintain NetApp storage technology, (Snapmirror, zoning andprovisioning volumes and Luns). Must provide an ability to mounthardware and configure connectivity to Cisco Nexus switchenvironment. Provide administration processes, including monitoringof system health and performance, to ensure high levels ofperformance, availability, and security within the storage system.

  
  

• Applyvirtualization access to all network and storage Infrastructure.VMWare and MS Hyper-V knowledge is critical aspect to the role andmust be able to support HA, DRS, V-Smotion, and ability to writescripts to support MS / Virtualization changes.

  
  

• Independentlyanalyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problemresolution end-to-end.

  
  

• Refineand automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes

  
  

• Assistand resolve security vulnerabilities within the Infrastructure.

  
  

• Provide24x7 support for critical production systems.

  
  

• Performscheduled maintenance and support release change managementactivities after hours.

  
  

• Sharedomain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship andcross-training to other peers and team members.

  
  

• Liaisewith 3rd party providers & support teams and other businessfunctions as and when required.

  
  

• Implementand integrate both Infrastructure and security development projects.

  
  

• Assistwith out of hours work including weekends when necessary.

  
  

• Ensureprofessional and effective resolution of incidents and requests atall times

  
  

• Responsiblefor providing 1st/2nd line support to all end users for allproduction systems and associated data communication, in accordancewith policies, procedures and Service Level Agreements.

  
  

• Releasingapplication changes to production

  
  

• Setup Servers, Install and configure application

  
  

• PerformVB and Powershell scripting to automate tasks

  
  

• Monitorand address alerts that are generated by the managed systems

  
  

• Support Production, UAT, and development environment

  
  

• Toact as the go to person for network and Firewall related issues, ownand drive these issues till resolution.

  
  

• Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication

  
  

Termsand conditions: 
Joiningtime frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month).
