Duration:8 Months

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team for an 8-month period. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of corporate finance, working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to real-world projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess strong analytical skills, and have a solid foundation in finance or accounting principles.


Responsibilities:
  • Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities.
  • Support budgeting processes and monitor financial performance against budgets.
  • Contribute to data collection, analysis, and presentation for financial reviews.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
  • Conduct research on market trends, financial regulations, and competitor analysis.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for various stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:Previous internship experience in finance or a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Work Ethic:Strong work ethic with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Thinking:Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.

Education:

  • Must be able to commit to an 8-month full-time or part-time internship.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent) preferred.
Skills:
  • Financial Acumen:Basic understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), accounting principles, and financial analysis.
  • Software Proficiency:
    • Microsoft Excel:Advanced proficiency (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions, data modeling).
    • Microsoft PowerPoint:Strong ability to create clear and compelling presentations.
    • Other MS Office Suite:Proficient in Word and Outlook.
  • Data Analysis:Ability to interpret financial data and present findings clearly.
  • Research Skills:Capable of conducting thorough research and synthesizing information.
  • Time Management:Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
