NES Fircroft are seeking an experienced Senior E&I Engineer to join a rare earth and mineral sands project in Geraldton, providing construction-phase support across HV-fed infrastructure and complex LV electrical and instrumentation systems.

Benefits:
  • Location: BIBO – Geraldton (transport hours fully paid)
  • Contract: 12 months (possibility of extension up to 18months)
  • Rate: $125 - $140 + Super, pending experience
  • Hours: 2/1 Roster, 12hrs per day
  • Other Benefits: Fortnightly pay, EAP contractor support, dedicated NES Fircroft consultant
About you:
  • Degree qualified Electrical Engineer
  • Suited to someone who can think quickly, adapt onsite, and resolve issues proactively
  • Full project lifecycle experience – heavy design review component to this role.
  • Strong understanding of HV/LV distribution, MCCs, substations, instrumentation, PLC/DCS.
  • Capability to provide fast, practical field-based problem solving.
  • Knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, AS 5368, and WA Mines Safety & Inspection Regulations.
Role responsibility:
  • Be the ‘go-to’ person for any onsite queries, both a field and in the office dual role.
  • Support electrical and instrumentation construction activities in line with project specs.
  • Interpret drawings and provide immediate technical direction to site teams.
  • Manage TQs/RFIs and coordinate timely engineering responses.
  • Conduct inspections, testing oversight, and quality compliance checks.
