Join a major Engineering company with large projects across Mining, Energy and Infrastructure. This Senior Cost Controller position is part of the Project Services team for a large multi-discipline project. Adelaide or Brisbane based. 
Role Responsibilites: 
  • Develop, maintain, and report project cost information for the project
  • Ability to develop and execute the Cost Management Plan 
  • Manage a healthy project within the project budget and ensure compliance with the project governance framework
  • Support the financial control of the project in accordance with client and project requirements
  • Deliver accurate up to date cost information to faciliatate sound project decision making
  • Coordinate overall Cost Management discipline and manage a team of Cost Controllers allocated to the project
About You:
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering or relevant discipline
  • 10+ years relevant experience as a Cost Controller in a multidiscipline project environment
  • Site based experience on large projects
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting final costs, cash flows, change management and estimating processes
  • Good knowledge of procurement, contracts, planning & scheduling, engineering processes and risk management
  • Be fully versed with project management and cost control principles, policies and procedures and financial systems
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office package, especially MS Excel and experience with common industry cost management software packages
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
