Position Title - Operations Liaison Co-ordinator

Role Overview:
The Operations Liaison Coordinator (OLC) is responsible for providing operational and logistical coordination across remote operational sites, working closely with internal teams and relevant external stakeholders as required.
The role focuses on ensuring the safety, coordination, and effective movement of expatriate and visiting personnel, primarily through structured communication, documentation control, planning, and coordination activities.
Key elements of the role include operational safety coordination, emergency preparedness, personnel induction, journey management, and liaison activities within challenging and remote environments.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Provide operational and logistical coordination across designated operational locations, liaising with counterparts at other sites when required
  • Coordinate documentation, information flow, and arrangements to support the operational safety of personnel on site
  • Support emergency contingency planning and response activities in line with company procedures
  • Deliver operational safety inductions and briefings to all visiting and site-based personnel
  • Perform QA/QC checks on physical safety, support infrastructure, and operational processes to ensure they remain fit for purpose
  • Plan and coordinate personnel movements, including flights and ground transport where applicable
  • Liaise with relevant external stakeholders and local support teams as required to enable safe operations
  • Maintain and support site evacuation and emergency response plans and be prepared to assist in their execution if required
  • Participate in incident management activities when necessary
  • Prepare written operational safety briefings, induction materials, and support exercise or drill activity
  • Deliver journey management briefings in line with internal procedures
  • Ensure personnel comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable local regulations
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Qualifications and/or recent, relevant professional experience in areas such as:
    • Operational risk assessment
    • Asset protection and operational safety
    • Quality assurance / quality control
    • Emergency response and contingency planning
    • Remote medical awareness
    • Modern communication systems
  • Strong English language skills are essential; additional languages are advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with local and multicultural teams, requiring high levels of emotional intelligence, maturity, and discretion
  • Clear and concise communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Proven experience working in high-risk, high-hazard, or remote operating environments (typically 8–10+ years preferred)
  • Background in operational liaison, risk management, or asset protection roles
  • Experience overseeing or coordinating third-party vendors or service providers in remote locations is desirable
  • Experience auditing and maintaining operational safety or asset protection documentation
  • Strong coordination, organisational, and stakeholder-management skills
