We are looking for a Software Developer who is excited by complex technical challenges and has a strong interest in building world-class cloud software. As a member of the Java Platform Development group, you will contribute to the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software systems across the stack. You should be comfortable working deeply across system layers, value simplicity and scalability, and be eager to learn and contribute in a team-oriented Agile environment.

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for databases, applications, tools, networks, and related systems
• Contribute to the development and evolution of large-scale cloud and Java platform services
• Work with geographically distributed teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Help define and improve engineering practices, standards, and procedures
• Deliver complex projects on time with a strong focus on quality and reliability
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to team members where appropriate

• 5+ years of experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available distributed cloud systems
• Strong experience in end-to-end cloud service design, implementation, and deployment
• Expert knowledge of Java, with experience building large-scale products or projects
• Strong understanding of concurrency
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
• Working knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP, and standard network architectures
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Familiarity with AI tools and experience developing agentic frameworks

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-moving engineering environment
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Interest in building reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems
• Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
