In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Specialist for SAP SCM APO, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) solutions for supply chain management. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, design and develop solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Design and Develop Solutions: Design, develop, test, and implement SAP APO solutions for supply chain planning and optimization, ensuring alignment with business requirements and existing systems. * Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs, ensuring effective communication and seamless integration. * Maintain Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base for SAP APO solutions, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security in SAP systems. * Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP APO and supply chain planning applications, collaborating with other teams as needed. * Stay Up-to-Date with New Features: Stay current with new features and functionalities in SAP APO and supply chain planning applications, applying this knowledge to improve solution delivery.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Exposure to SAP SCM and APO: Proven experience working with SAP Supply Chain Management and Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) solutions, with a solid understanding of supply chain planning concepts. * Technical Development Skills: Experience with designing, developing, testing, and implementing SAP APO solutions, including technical configuration and customization. * Data Quality and Security: Familiarity with ensuring data quality, integrity, and security in SAP systems, with a focus on supply chain planning and optimization applications. * Troubleshooting and Resolution: Exposure to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to SAP APO and supply chain planning applications. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, design and develop solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* Familiarity with Emerging Trends: Exposure to new features and functionalities in SAP APO and supply chain planning applications, with the ability to apply this knowledge to improve solution delivery. * Knowledge of Integration Tools: Experience working with tools that enable seamless integration with existing systems, enhancing the overall effectiveness of SAP APO solutions. * Understanding of Advanced Analytics: Exposure to advanced analytics concepts and their application in supply chain planning and optimization, allowing for more informed decision-making.
