Our team focuses on delivering high-quality, power-efficient hardware using advanced SERDES technology at industry-leading bit rates. We manage the entire hardware lifecycle—from definition and design to qualification, release, and sustaining—collaborating with internal teams and vendors to address complex challenges.
Your Impact:- Lead and execute electronic design validation tests (EDVT) for high-speed hardware platforms, including PCBA and system-level validations related to telecom products.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts to improve test coverage, repeatability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with hardware design, firmware, Diags and software teams to define test requirements and ensure comprehensive validation.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve hardware and system-level defects.
- Design and implement test plans covering signal integrity, power consumption, thermal, ESD, and functional validation.
- Utilize industry-standard test equipment and tools for high-speed signal analysis and validation.
- Drive continuous improvement in test methodologies and automation tools to reduce manual effort and accelerate validation cycles.
- Document test procedures, results, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and validation strategies.
- Support product qualification and certification processes by ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in high-speed hardware validation, specifically in electrical device validation tests (EDVT).
- Strong expertise in PCBA testing, signal integrity analysis, power consumption measurement, and system-level validation (ESD, thermal, functional).
- Proven experience in test automation using scripting languages (Python, TCL, or similar) and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power meters, Traffic Generators (IXIA/KeySight, VIAVI/JDSU) and environmental chambers.
- Experience with continuous integration and automated test execution environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in hardware validation and testing.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Cisco hardware platforms or similar networking equipment.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled test automation frameworks and tools.
- Certifications related to hardware testing or automation or CCNA.
